Vibe Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading automotive service provider, who is looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join their team in Rugby. This is an exciting opportunity for an MOT Tester to join a well-established business and play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
About the Role:
As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests on a wide range of vehicles, diagnosing any faults, and providing recommendations for repairs or maintenance. Your expertise will ensure that all vehicles are compliant with safety regulations and are roadworthy, offering customers peace of mind and reliable service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct MOT tests on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles in accordance with legal requirements and safety standards.
- Diagnose faults and assess vehicle condition during the MOT process.
- Provide customers with clear explanations of MOT test results and discuss any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of MOT tests and repairs.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.
- Uphold the highest levels of customer service by providing professional advice and assistance to customers.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Ideally, You Will Have:
- Full MOT Tester qualification (Class 4 and 7).
- Proven experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar automotive role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and MOT testing procedures.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driving licence.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
