Sales Administrator
Monday to Thursday -8.30am -5.15pm Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
1 hour for lunch every day.
Salary £26,239


Ideal candidate would be someone who has worked in sales admin/customer service/internal sales for a manufacturer or distributor of different products to lots of customers, being able to cross/up sell while you were talking to them and react quickly and accurately as all orders received by lunchtime that are in stock, go out that day for next day delivery.


Reporting directly to the Sales Office Manager under the supervision of the Team Leader. The role involves direct contact with all members of the sales administrator team, field based sales team, other office and warehouse colleagues along with the Directors.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:

  • Being the first point of contact with customer, (telephone calls and emails) offering excellent customer service
  • Processing orders/quotations
  • Answering product questions, advising on product features, pricing and availability etc
  • Resolving general customer queries, escalating to Team Leader if necessary
  • Carrying out Telesales campaigns (soft calls to existing customers)
  • Daily invoicing
  • Monitor time critical orders, relaying information on any delays
  • Product knowledge to be gained throughout training
  • Point of contact for customers to reinvoice queries.



ABOUT YOU:

  • 3 years experience
  • Internal sales
  • Fast paced environment experience
  • Can cross sell and upsell
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Approachable, team player.
  • Attention to detail, organised and able to multi-task.
