This full-time role is available from after Easter until the end of the summer term, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will have one day of teaching responsibility each week.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEND.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Conduct assessments and create individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Provide training and support to staff on SEND issues.
- Teach one day per week, delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant SENCO qualification.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
