Timeplan Education has opened their East Midlands office and we are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Teacher to support a school in Rugby, which requires a Primary level Teacher.
The experienced Teacher will require:
- Have an understanding of how SEND environments work
- Understand how to work from ECH plans and deliver lessons accordingly
- To deliver engaging lessons to the children in KS2
- Provide support to children during classroom activities, ensuring they are engaged and participating fully
- Work closely with the classroom TA/support
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment
- Report writing and dealing with outside agencies
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assist in assessing children's progress and reporting any concerns
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children and adults alike
- Experience working within education, QTS is desired
- Ability to educate and inspire young learners through creative teaching methods
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for working with children who have diverse learning needs within mainstream and SEND environments
- Previous experience working with children in various settings is advantageous
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed in their educational journey.
