Our client are a small marketing agency based in Rugby and their offer a range of services including EO, PPC, Social, Web and Email Marketing, and due to winning a number of contracts are looking to recruit a Senior PPC Manager.

They are looking for an ambitious and experienced PPC Specialist who can work well as part of a team. PPC plays an important part of their integrated offering and therefore they are looking for someone with proven experience to join an expanding digital agency. You will be able to quickly interpret briefs, communicate well with clients and deliver the highest standards of work with a good level of autonomy.

Experience in both SEO and PPC would be advantageous, but they really require someone who is proactive and has endless enthusiasm for assisting the team in their PPC approach. An eye for detail and the ability to be both technical and creative would be beneficial, alongside a good understanding of the commercial impact of digital marketing on a business.

This person would need great communication skills, on-point organisational skills with an ability to meet deadlines and manage their time effectively.

Hybrid working is expected as part of the 'PPC Specialist’ role with two days minimum required in their Rugby office.

Key responsibilities.

  • Account and campaign setup for PPC clients
  • Ongoing day to day maintenance of PPC campaigns for a portfolio of clients
  • Development of PPC campaigns for better performance
  • Client account management where required
  • Ensuring client accounts stay within set budgets and are always maximising opportunities
  • Pulling together data and analysing performance for reporting
  • Ability to manage both lead generation and e-commerce accounts.
  • Demonstrable ability to set-up and manage campaigns across search, shopping, display, video and performance max.

Required experience and qualifications.

  • A strong understanding of Google Ads / Microsoft Ads
  • Dynamic with the ability to move from task to task quickly
  • A creative & commercial thought process
  • The ability to interpret briefs quickly
  • The ability to work as part of a team & be flexible when required
  • Understanding of the commercial impact of PPC
  • Proven experience of working on a client account, from set up to ongoing management, with clear and ongoing performance improvements.

Preferred experience.

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an agency environment
  • Experience with paid social would be great, but not required
  • Google Ads certifications would also be beneficial
