If you're ready to lead, innovate, and make a real difference, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.About the Senior QHSE Manager Role: As the leader for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) on site, you will ensure the highest standards of compliance within the companies principles, and the requirements of their partners. You will be at the forefront of driving and developing the Food Safety and Quality agenda, ensuring delivery on their mission to keep products at the highest standards.You will lead a talented team and collaborate with site leadership to continuously improve processes and culture. Your mission will also include overseeing environmental initiatives, meeting regulatory standards, not just ensuring compliance but setting new benchmarks in safety and quality.Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of the clients Quality and Food Safety requirements at the site, ensuring they align with our overall supply chain strategy. Partner with site leadership to drive continuous improvement.
  • KPI Management: Champion initiatives that reduce Consumer Complaint Ratios, Lost Time Accident Frequency, and other key metrics for Quality, Safety, and Environmental performance.
  • Team Development: Manage the Quality and Safety teams at the site, leading capability development, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Operational Solutions: Develop and implement processes, tools, and training that empower your team and improve quality outcomes at the site.
  • Compliance & Accreditation: Lead the site’s ongoing accreditation for third-party audits including AIB, FSSC, ISO, and customer audits.
  • Risk Management: Own Risk Assessments and HACCP implementation, ensuring quality control and verification activities are fully in place.
  • Environmental Leadership: Oversee environmental compliance and lead initiatives aimed at sustainability and exceeding environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Senior QHSE Management role within a food-based FMCG industry, ideally at a manufacturing site.
  • A deep understanding of QHSE Management systems, including HACCP, ISO 9001/22000, BRC, AIB, and others.
  • Experience with Raw Material and Laboratory techniques, including analytical, microbiological, and packaging methods.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and coach teams for success.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities using techniques such as RCA, SPC, and FMEA.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with a track record of engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Professional certifications such as Advanced HACCP, Advanced Food Hygiene, Lead Auditor, and Safety qualifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, and registered practitioner.
