Our client requires a General Manager to run a contract in the provision of high end education catering. Set up in order to help people meet their full potential, this is a great environment in which to work. They are currently seeking an experienced General or Operations Manager, preferably with a background in private education catering, to take up the challenge.

Job Description

Working on a 5/7 basis, you will be managing a team providing for over 700 pupils and staff at the school. You will be involved in the day to day multi-outlet catering services on site and work with suitable menus that exceed expectations. Alongside this, you will ensure that all health, safety and hygiene standards are met. An experience and knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens is essential. Stock and financial control is also in your remit.

Required Experience:

You will have experience of the provision of food to similar volume at General or Operations Manager level in a contract catering independant or higher education environment. B&I, boutique hotel or commercial experince will also be considered. You will also require high end event experience. You will need to demonstrate a record of success and the drive and desire always increase standards of food and service. You will require up to date references, and a clean DBS check. A knowledge of modern food trends and commerciality is paramount.

Salary and Benefits:

The starting salary for this role is up to £50,000p/a over 52 weeks.
