- Production & Manufacturing: Lead all production and manufacturing activities for both existing and new customers with bespoke requirements.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting: Use data analysis to forecast demand, ensuring efficient production.
- Inventory & Supplier Management: Optimize raw material levels and build strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of ~10, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency in the supply chain and manufacturing process.
- Customer Interaction: Handle product queries, quotations, and quality issues, ensuring a top-notch service.
- Health & Safety: Maintain compliance with safety standards and oversee facility and machinery maintenance.
- Training & Development: Invest in your team’s growth by providing consistent training.
- Minimum of 5+ years in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of the packaging industry, particularly wood/plastic/cardboard solutions.
- Proven experience managing teams of 15+ employees.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- IT proficiency, including supply chain software and MS Office
- Located within a commutable distance to Rugby, UK.
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
