You will be working with Hays Education, one of the largest recruitment agencies working within primary schools in Rugby. We are currently recruiting Supply Teachers who can teach within the EYFS - KS2 on a day-day basis as well as long-term.

Supply Teaching

As a Supply Teacher, you will be working in a classroom teaching children in the absence of their original teachers. You will have the responsibility of teaching. Therefore, you will be required to plan and deliver the lessons following the school policy as well as marking and providing feedback where relevant. You will also be observing behaviour and ensuring all children are following the behavioural policy and any other issues to be reported back to the Teacher - any safeguarding issues please report to the on-duty DSL.

You may be supporting different schools on a day to day, ad hoc basis or, and if this is your preferred choice, you will be working at the same school on a long-term basis, either full-time or part-time. Remember working on supply is completely flexible and can work around your other commitments.

What you'll need to succeedTo be a successful Supply Teacher, you must have a good knowledge of the primary school NationalCurriculum where you will be covering various of year groups. You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so. You must have experience teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.What you'll get in returnFlexible working options are available.
