Duties
- Plan and deliver creative, interactive, and differentiated lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all learners.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure all children reach their potential.
- Encourage the development of essential skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social interaction through engaging activities and lessons.
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to promote a consistent and supportive learning experience.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect, kindness, and a love of learning.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, training sessions, and events to contribute to the school's ethos and development.
Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1.
