Year 3 Teacher

OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Year 3 Teacher to join a supportive and progressive school community. This is an exciting opportunity to help children transition smoothly into Key Stage 2 (KS2), fostering their academic and personal growth. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong subject knowledge, and a genuine passion for education. The salary for this role is between £30,000 and £50,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Duties

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
  • Monitor, assess, and document students' progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
  • Build students' confidence in key subjects, including English, maths, and science, while encouraging creativity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a consistent approach to teaching.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to keep them informed of their child's progress and development.
  • Support school-wide initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Skills

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
  • Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent organisational and classroom management skills.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
