What You Will Do:

- Oversee the daily operations of CNC Milling Centres and manual machining equipment, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.

- Lead and motivate a team of skilled machinists, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

- Program and operate Siemens CNC Milling Centres, incorporating offline programming tools such as Fusion 360.

- Implement quality control measures, utilizing various measuring instruments to guarantee adherence to engineering specifications.

- Address and resolve machining issues promptly, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations and promoting safe working practices.

What You Will Bring:

- Demonstrable experience in CNC machining, particularly with Siemens CNC Milling Centres, and proficiency in offline programming tools.

- A strong background in manual machining, including lathes and milling machines.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of enhancing productivity and morale.

- Solid problem-solving abilities, especially in a high-pressure breakdown/repair environment.

- Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or Machining, are highly desirable.
