Mechanical Supervisor

Main Duties:

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance resources to enhance plant reliability in the designated area while meeting safety, health, environmental, and financial goals.
• Enforce safe operations and ensure environmental compliance.
• Oversee and manage the mechanical maintenance plan.
• Collaborate with the Planning Department to ensure the availability of necessary parts, labor, and equipment for effective maintenance execution.
• Review inspection results and ensure appropriate actions are taken to meet reliability targets.
• Coordinate the deployment of labor, parts, and equipment resources.
• Manage the mechanical team by focusing on productivity, motivation, and discipline.
• Monitor the performance of staff and contractors to ensure tasks are executed as planned.
• Supervise preventative maintenance inspections to maintain operational efficiency.

Skills Required:

• Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor (degree) Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years experience Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Leader or Deputy/Graduate Engineer in a cement plant
