Control Centre Supervisor

Location: Rugby Borough Council, CV21 2RR (Due to the nature of the position

About the RoleRugby Borough Council is seeking a Control Centre Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Control Centre Team. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring service quality, and supporting independent living residents. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the Control Centre team
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and team meetings.
  • Develop and maintain staff rotas, ensuring adequate cover at all times.
  • Manage stock levels and liaise with contractors for maintenance needs.
  • Ensure accurate records of customer information and incidents.
  • Monitor health & safety requirements and risk assessments.
  • Promote the Lifeline service externally to generate additional revenue.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in, control centre or lifeline services.
  • Previous staff supervisory experience in a Contact Centre environment
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emergencies.
