Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher to join the dedicated team. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and ideally, experience teaching Maths. This role requires a deep understanding and enthusiasm for working with SEN learners, recognising that it will be both challenging and rewarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to the needs of SEN pupils.
- Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the holistic development of each pupil.
- Monitor and assess student's progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching Maths, preferably within an SEN setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN and a commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of SEN learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and empathy.
