4 on 4 off, rotating weekly (days and nights) 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00
£31,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Security Officer to join a growing distribution business in the CV23.
This is an essential role helping to protect the sites facility, assets and personnel. You will also oversee the shift and lead a small team of Officers.
The core shifts will be 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights however we are also looking for somebody flexible to cover holiday/absence when needed
This is a varied role and duties will include:
- Site CCTV monitoring
- Booking Vehicles In & Out
- Pallet trailer checks
- Issuing of ID cards, Issue & return of Keys & Warehouse Exit Searches
- Visitor & Site Tours management
- Random Personnel and vehicle searches
- Internal and external patrols
- Covering reception duties when required
- Management of Security Incidents - Intruder, Fire alarms, Protesters etc
- Fire Alarm and Sprinkler pump tests
- Processing of leavers and disabling door fobs
- Authorisation on Devices/Items to be taken into the warehouse and restricted areas
- Allocation of staff Lockers and locker searches
Additional Senior/Management duties will include:
- Completing the shift hand over
- Diary management, planning 1-2-1's etc for the managers
- Training new starters
- Planning patrols and allocating duties
The perfect candidate:
- Professional and positive attitude
- Computer literacy and excellent communication
- Passionate about security and safety
- Previous Leadership experience
- SIA license
- Ability to pass a DBS and National Security Check
- Due to the secure nature of this client, 5 years of UK employment history will need to be carried out.
