We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Assembly Operative to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electrical components and systems, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, good hand-eye coordination, and a strong understanding of electrical principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electrical components and systems according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct wiring, soldering, crimping, and other electrical assembly tasks.
  • Test completed assemblies to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve assembly issues, escalating more complex problems as required.
  • Perform quality checks on incoming materials and finished products.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly work and test results.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, keeping the work area clean and organised.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in electrical assembly or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and assembly equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic understanding of electrical safety standards and practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to undergo training and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • IPC-A-610 or similar certification in soldering and electrical assembly (desirable but not essential).

What We Offer:
  • Basic pay 17.01ph + 30% shift allowance = 22.11ph
  • O/T rates 1.5 weekdays and Saturday and x 2 on Sundays.
