Our inclusive environment fosters growth, learning, and development for all our students.Job Description:We are seeking passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team on a long-term supply cover basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in supporting children with special educational needs.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with a range of special educational needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support classroom teachers in managing student behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Help with personal care and mobility needs as required.
- Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
- Strong understanding of various special educational needs and strategies to support them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different classroom settings.
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
