My client, a leading 3rd party food and drinks logistics provider, are seeking a Supplier Relationship Manager to join their flourishing Procurement department, in Rugby.

This is a hybrid role of 2-3 days per week in the office.

As Supplier Relationship Manager you will be responsible for the performance and risk management of key suppliers, as well as the identification and delivery of value add opportunities, to optimise the companies financial performance, business resilience and quality of goods and services received from suppliers. the role holder will be a flexible, proactive and resilient individual, who is capable of working in a fast paced environment, with competing demands on their their time.

  • Contribution to the departmental savings targets
  • Performance management of key suppliers, optimising delivery
  • Risk management of key suppliers and key categories, in order to minimise supply chain issues
  • Creation and implementation of strategic category plans, in conjunction with sourcing managers
  • Constantly looking for opportunities to drive more value from the relationship, via cost savings, revenue generation, working capital gain and sustainability gain.

Skills/Experience:

  • Ideally from a Logistics provider background or FMCG background
  • Proven ability to identify and implement value add commercial solutions, in a fast paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
