The Role: Income Officer

Location: Rugby - 1 day WFH 4 days in the office

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and professional individual to manage rent accounts within an assigned area. In this role, you will work closely with tenants to ensure rent payments are made on time, provide support for those facing financial difficulties, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain sustainable tenancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor rent accounts to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Proactively engage with tenants to discuss arrears, negotiate payment plans, and provide guidance on rent payment obligations.
  • Offer tailored support to tenants facing financial challenges by connecting them with relevant welfare and support services.
  • Collaborate with tenancy support and welfare teams to minimize arrears and sustain tenancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports to support income collection targets and council objectives.
