Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a Multi-Skilled Painter to work for Rugby Council.

This is a full-time locum role paying £17.59 - £22.87 per hour

Key Responsibilites:

  • In close collaboration with the Waste & Transport Manager the post holder is responsible on a day to day basis for the overall management of the Vehicle Workshop and associated staff.
  • The post holder being fully conversant with VOSA regulations on vehicle servicing and preparation for MOT’s ensures that all works are carried out to the appropriate standards.
  • To assist the Councils Transport Officer in the preparation of the fleets annual servicing schedules.
  • To repair, maintain and service vehicles, plant and machinery, of all varieties, sizes and configurations as required to ensure compliant maintenance the fleet.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Educated to a Academic Degree Level or equivalent or a significant level of experience relevant to the post.
  • Recent experience.
  • Experience of supporting a team according to available resources and skill levels and working co-operatively with others.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of licensing
  • Good organisational skills
