Warehouse Operative
Location: Rugby
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Pick and Pack Worker to join their team. This role is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Picking and Packing.
Accurately pick products from shelves according to order specifications, using manual or automated systems.
Ensure the right items and quantities are selected for each order.
Safely pack items for shipment, ensuring all products are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
Select appropriate packing materials based on the size and type of items being shipped.
Safety and Compliance:
Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment.
Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules.
Inventory Management:
Assist in tracking inventory levels and reporting discrepancies to supervisors.
Help with restocking shelves when inventory is low.
Maintain accurate records of items picked and packed.
Quality Control:
Inspect products for defects or damages before they are packed and shipped.
Ensure products meet quality standards and adhere to customer specifications.
Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with other team members to ensure orders are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors about any issues or delays in the process.
Qualifications and Skills:
Prior experience in a warehouse environment is required.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
