Contracts Manager (Regional Construction Contractor)

Up to 80k + Car / Car allowance + Package

Due to several new projects won this established regional contractor are growing and they require another Contracts Manager to join the team in the Warwickshire office to look after a up to 3 construction projects in the Midlands area.

The company have enjoyed steady growth and turnover around 100million, whilst winning numerous awards including the BITC Responsible Business Award and the UKCG Employer of the year. The company incorporate family values and work with a collaborative forward-thinking attitude.

Their schemes range in value from 5-35m with schemes averaging around the 10m mark. Their projects vary in market sector and include: Extra Care, Healthcare, Commercial & Residential.

The Contract Manager Role

Oversee Project Managers that are tasked with overseeing the operational management of various new build & refurbishment projects up and exceeding the value of 35m.
Take ownership for Health & Safety and Environment responsibility.
Work closely with the pre-construction team on; SHE, Build ability and programme issues and review and comment on design information issues by both consultants and suppliers.
Work closely with the Site Management team on each site to ensure that things run smoothly - an effective communicator is essential.
Manage projects in line with the agreed finance and production targets and reports.
Have key client-facing responsibility

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will be an excellent people manager with a hands-on style and be able to interact well with others. You will come from a main construction contractor background ideally have worked on car home type projects. Will be able to demonstrate experience at senior management level.
