Trainee Sales Engineer
We are currently working with a local engineering business in the Rugeley area who are seeking to expand their sales team with two new additions!
The company have a proven track record of developing, nurturing and upskilling individuals and are seeking two personable, driven and ambitious engineers or salespeople to join their team.
This role will be client facing so requires individuals who are confident and enjoy meeting new people. Ideally you will have some experience within engineering or manufacturing but this isn't essential and people with little to no experience will be considered.
What you will be doing?
- Dealing with customer enquiries and providing quotes for work using our in-house quotation software.
- Reading engineering drawings and incorporating requirements into quotes.
- Understanding different types of material (mild and stainless steels, aluminium, copper and more) and providing advice to customers.
- Building full understanding of our internal laser cutting, press braking and CAD offerings to make sure that we give comprehensive guidance to both existing and prospective customers.
- Building knowledge of the various sub-contract operations that we offer, such as painting, plating, welding and machining, so that we are confident in handling enquiries for such services.
- Act and perform in line with company objectives.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Benefits
- Salary: 24,000 - 28,000 per annum
