Production Engineer – Vacuum Forming

What You Will Do:

  • Utilise 3D/2D CAD Software for designing new tooling and fixtures, understanding work holding principles
  • Develop manufacturing processes from concept to fully validated components
  • Support the introduction of new products into production from initial concept phase to launch
  • Interpret engineering CAD drawings, ensuring high quality standards and tight tolerances
  • Transfer data from drawings to create BOMs and routings on an ERP system
  • Formulate strategies for efficient and lean manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate effectively with the production engineering team and operations staff

What You Will Bring:

  • An engineering degree or equivalent with proven experience in a similar role
  • Exposure within Vacuum Forming processes, tooling and equipment to support NPI activities
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding CAD drawings
  • A creative approach, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
