Job role: Hospitality/PSHE Teacher for a Secondary School in Rugeley

Aspire People is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Hospitality/PSHE Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Rugeley. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and educate students in two important areas: the practical and creative field of Hospitality and the vital life skills taught through PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education).

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching these subjects and a commitment to supporting students' personal growth, well-being, and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Hospitality and PSHE to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Teach students essential skills in Hospitality, including food preparation, customer service, and business management, while also fostering creativity and teamwork.
Plan and implement a comprehensive PSHE curriculum that equips students with important life skills, such as mental health awareness, relationships, and financial literacy.
Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and personal development.
Promote a positive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and motivated.
Participate in extracurricular activities related to Hospitality or PSHE, enhancing students' learning experience outside the classroom.
Collaborate with colleagues in the department and wider school community to support student well-being and academic achievement.
The Ideal Candidate:

A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in Hospitality, PSHE, or a related subject.
Experience teaching Hospitality and/or PSHE at the secondary level is highly desirable.
Passionate about helping students develop both practical skills and important life knowledge.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity, safeguarding, and student welfare.
Enthusiastic about working as part of a team and contributing to a positive school culture.
A DBS on the update service or the willingness to purchase a new one through Aspire People.
