About the Role:
Aspire People are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Hospitality Teacher with the ability to deliver PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education) up to Key Stage 4. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity to work at a vibrant school in Rugeley, where you will have the chance to inspire students in both hospitality and personal development.

As a Hospitality Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and marking lessons, ensuring that students gain both practical skills and a solid understanding of the subject. You will also teach PSHE, helping students build essential life skills and emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Hospitality lessons, focusing on practical skills, industry knowledge, and theory.
Deliver high-quality PSHE lessons up to Key Stage 4, encouraging students to explore life skills, mental health, well-being, and social responsibility.
Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
Monitor student progress and offer support to ensure academic success and personal growth.
Develop and maintain effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
Work closely with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
Participate in school events, extra-curricular activities, and contribute to the school community.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Hospitality at secondary school level.
Ability to deliver PSHE up to Key Stage 4, with a strong understanding of the subject.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Passionate about helping students grow academically and personally.
Experience in planning and delivering lessons, as well as marking and assessing student work.
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
A current DBS on the update service or the willingness to purchase a new one.
