Our client is a fast-growing Mechanical Contractor that Manufacture & Install specialist products for a range of highly regulated projects, including Nuclear & Rail.

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer with an understanding of Mechanical Engineering?

Have you created and maintained Lifetime Quality Records (LTRs / LTQRs)?

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of quality management in the Mechanical Engineering or Construction industry. If you are skilled in inspection and testing procedures, possess excellent communication abilities, and are driven to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, this role could be the perfect fit for you. A background in ductwork or ventilation is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures for local installation teams.
  • Create, maintain and progress Lifetime Quality Record documents (LTRs / LTQRs).
  • Establish and communicate inspection and testing criteria for all products and services, ensuring project-specific requirements are met.
  • Manage inspections and tests throughout the installation process, including final sign-off and handover.
  • Witness and manage inspections at suppliers' premises for relevant equipment.
  • Support and train installation teams on inspection and testing procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.


Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in highly regulated Engineering, Civils or Construction sectors
  • Experience with Lifetime Quality Records (LTRs / LTQRs)
  • An understanding of Mechanical Engineering is highly advantageous
  • Strong quality management systems experience working to ISO standards
