We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client, a construction company. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in managing the financial records and transactions.
The responsibilities of the Bookkeeper include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial transactions and records.
- Complete bank reconciliation, month-end accrual, prepayments and VAT returns.
- Generate regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for clients.
Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:
- Experience in bookkeeping and working in an accountancy practice environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An eye for detail and the ability to produce consistently accurate work.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
