About the Company: My client is a niche and growing marketing-led company, specialising in providing consultancy services to some of the world’s leading brands.About the Role: This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on expanding into the US market. As the Client Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and growing client relationships with major brands in the United States, working alongside the USA Business Development Manager and reporting directly to the Head of USA.

Your main objective will be to ensure the smooth running of client projects and maintain excellent service to secure repeat business. This role offers a blend of project management and sales, where you’ll spend 80% of your time overseeing existing projects and 20% on new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of up to 60 clients, ensuring smooth project delivery and maintaining excellent relationships with brands and agencies.
  • Understand and apply US promotional laws and regulations (after comprehensive training).
  • Support the development and execution of large-scale proposals and promotional campaigns.
  • Upsell and cross-sell services to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Attend client meetings and deliver presentations (in the UK and potentially in the US).
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including project managers and legal advisors, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Participate in outbound business development activities to expand the client base.
  • Ensure accurate timesheets, track project hours, and manage time in lieu (TOIL) where needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, ideally within marketing, consultancy, or media sectors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in delivering presentations.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a passion for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to handle the demands of working across different time zones.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the US market is a plus, but not essential – full training will be provided.
