Nursery Practitioners

Our client is looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner for their excellent Nursery based in Ruislip. The Nursery Practitioner must be passionate, enthusiastic, and driven to give young children the best early years education and care needed for their development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care
  • Plan and provide effective teaching and learning
  • Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
  • Communicate with colleagues, parents/carers to meet the individual needs of the children
  • To keep all key childrenā€™s development folders up-to-date and relevant
  • Make accurate and effect assessments of the children during the stages of development
  • To follow the nursery policies and procedures and uphold the nursery standards at allĀ Ā Ā  times

For this role you are required to:

  • Hold a relevant childcare qualification
  • Have a paediatric first aid certificate and some basic safeguarding training
  • Sound understanding of child development and of childrenā€™s needsĀ along with the EYFS statutory framework.
  • A positive approach to professional development
