We have a fantastic opportunity to work with a major top tier contractor who specialise in major commercial and Data centre projects. Boasting a rich heritage that spans nearly 100 years and a market leading name they have recently secured a number of major Data centre projects valued at circa 150Million.

Due to the continued growth in this region and sector they are seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a newscheme nearHeathrow.

Our client will be operatingas thegeneral contractor managing the build phase and all associated MEP services. After this scheme there are three others within commutable distance therefore future work after the initial contract is also available.

Role / Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will take a lead role in the procurement process and ensure all Sub Contracts are placed correctly with the appropriate Main Contract Terms included
  • You will oversee and manage the production of the variation account and the agreement process with the Client and be responsible for compiling of monthly project cost reports and the presentation of this to the Company Directors
  • An ability to build relationships with your project team and their clients is a must. You will need to be a good communicator, self motivated, and be comfortable with multi-tasking and working to deadlines.
  • Experience with production of cost plans, and full M&E Tenders for projects would be a benefit.
  • As a Senior Surveyor you will be responsible for managing other Surveyors of varying levels and provide support and training in order to develop their abilities and understanding.
