Workshop Controller - Ruislip

Monday to Friday & Saturdays on a rota

My client is looking for a Workshop Controller within the automotive industry and as such you must have dealership experience.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all daily operations maximising potential of sold hours and productive efficiency
  • Management of customer satisfaction
  • Recruitment, training and development of staff
  • Management and control of WIP, warranty and debtors
  • Managing the parts support process

Workshop Controller can create a good working atmosphere, enthuses and motivates their team. They also recognise their own personal development needs, allow others to express an opinion and feedback, and take constructive criticism seriously. They are able to reach target agreements with employees and to monitor the level of target achievement. They delegate responsibility in projects. They are very good at dealing with conflict and defend their own position accurately and objectively

Candidates must have previous experience as an automotive Workshop Controller/Assistant Service Manager ideally leading a workshop with technicians and a customer facing team of service advisors. Experience using CDK Drive, Pinnacle, Kerridge is preferred but not essential.
