About the RoleA well-regarded secondary school in Ruislip is looking for a confident and capable Computer Science Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in Computer Science who is looking to step into teaching - no formal teaching qualification is required.
This is an ideal position for an unqualified teacher with a Computer Science degree or relevant industry/academic experience, who has a strong interest in education and a natural ability to lead a classroom. You'll be supported by an experienced department and senior leadership team while making a real impact in students' learning and progress.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Support students in understanding computing principles, coding, and digital literacy.

Plan and adapt lessons according to the needs and abilities of students.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.

Contribute to the broader ICT and computing curriculum and any departmental initiatives.

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their goals.
Candidate Profile:We are looking for a Computer Science Teacher who:

Holds a degree in Computer Science or has substantial relevant industry or educational experience.

Is confident, presentable, and able to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively.

Has experience working with young people or a genuine passion for teaching.
