About the RoleA well-regarded secondary school in Ruislip is looking for a confident and capable Computer Science Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in Computer Science who is looking to step into teaching - no formal teaching qualification is required.

This is an ideal position for an unqualified teacher with a Computer Science degree or relevant industry/academic experience, who has a strong interest in education and a natural ability to lead a classroom. You'll be supported by an experienced department and senior leadership team while making a real impact in students' learning and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Support students in understanding computing principles, coding, and digital literacy.

  • Plan and adapt lessons according to the needs and abilities of students.

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.

  • Contribute to the broader ICT and computing curriculum and any departmental initiatives.
