Head of People (Part Time) To 60k plus two-yearly bonus 4 Days per week Ruislip Are you a robust CIPD qualified HR Business Partner - someone who can work in an agile environment and is now looking to work a 4-day week?My client a highly successful SME organisation is now seeking a people centric HR leader for this standalone role. You will be experienced at BP/Head of People level and someone who is passionate about company culture, training and development and fostering an energetic and collaborative work environment.You will have experience of writing and delivering training, have profound experience of employment law and able to oversee recruitment as well as nurturing and developing up coming managerial talent for the company. Although you will need to be strategic (not overly) you will also be someone who can step back see the bigger picture and advise and shape HR activity with new ideas and actions. This role will be based in the Office Monday to Thursday you will report directly into the MD. Benefits package is great and includes a twice-yearly bonus! Responsibilities

  • Developing and leading HR strategy aligned with business objectives, covering areas such as recruitment, retention, and employee development.
  • Providing emphasis and ongoing training and support to Senior Managers within the business, enhancing their HR knowledge and capabilities.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management to drive productivity and retention.
  • Creation of learning materials and delivering training
  • Refresh and develop new HR policies and practices to keep them relevant and effective.
  • Support and advise management on employee relations, including disciplinary matters and staff wellbeing.
  • Play a crucial role in building a positive company culture, championing staff engagement and workplace happiness.
  • Manage payroll administration, ensuring accurate submissions to finance.
  • Take charge of health & safety policies within the organisation.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HR initiatives with the company’s goals. About You: A dynamic HR leader with a passion for people and culture. Able to work in fast-paced environment and possess a deep understanding of employment law and best practice.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in an HR leadership role (HR Business Partner or Head of People), preferably in an SME environment.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of managing HR functions, including employee relations, policy creation, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Experience of writing and delivering training
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and coach managers and employees at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a changing environment.
  • Confident communicator with experience developing relationships across diverse business areas.
