Finance Assistant Runcorn (WA7) up to £27,000 DOE
Forrest Recruitment LTD are currently working in partnership with a leading organisation, based in the Runcorn area who are seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join a well-established team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a varied Accounting role, and to progress your skills further.
Duties of the role:
- Purchase Ledger responsible for the day-to-day processing of purchase invoices (high volumes)
- Creating purchase Orders on to Sage50
- Credit Control
- Bank reconciliations.
- Raising manual invoices
- Processing recurring invoices and collections
- Credit Control requesting payments from creditor accounts.
- Processing employee expenses
- Downloading petty cash
- Supporting with the production of management accounts and year end reporting
- Assisting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc admin tasks
Skills required:
- Successful candidate must possess excellent IT skills & be confident using Excel
- Ability to multitask and work in a busy environment.
- Ability to take initiative and practical approach to problem solving
