Finance Assistant Runcorn (WA7) up to £27,000 DOE

Forrest Recruitment LTD are currently working in partnership with a leading organisation, based in the Runcorn area who are seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join a well-established team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a varied Accounting role, and to progress your skills further.

Duties of the role:

  • Purchase Ledger responsible for the day-to-day processing of purchase invoices (high volumes)
  • Creating purchase Orders on to Sage50
  • Credit Control
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Raising manual invoices
  • Processing recurring invoices and collections
  • Credit Control requesting payments from creditor accounts.
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Downloading petty cash
  • Supporting with the production of management accounts and year end reporting
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc admin tasks

Skills required:

  • Successful candidate must possess excellent IT skills & be confident using Excel
  • Ability to multitask and work in a busy environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and practical approach to problem solving
