I am looking for a Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer / Quality Control Engineer to join my client, a global manufacturer of fluid power equipment based in Runcorn, Cheshire.

The successful Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer / Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for providing support to production teams, implementing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement across the business. This is an onsite role; the successful Quality Engineer must be commutable to Runcorn.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer quality concern, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Support new product launches through capability studies, control plans, and coordinating Production Part Approval Processes
  • Address supplier quality issues
  • Conduct training and enforce policies related to quality
  • Champion safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with workplace standards


Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Quality Management Degree)
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing process development and quality assurance
  • Commutable to Runcorn
