Adaptable Recruitment is proud to work on behalf of a well-established business in Runcorn, whoa re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic finance team. This role offers excellent growth opportunities, including study support and hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable invoices accurately, matching to purchase orders and ensuring proper authorisation.
  • Reconcile vendor statements monthly, resolving any discrepancies or missing invoices.
  • Handle staff expense claims, verifying compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to address and resolve invoice or purchasing queries promptly.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounts team as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Practical experience in Accounts Payable or currently holding/working towards a finance-related qualification.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and thrive in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
