Machine Operator – Brewery

Location: Runcorn, CheshireSalary: £48,500 per annumShift Pattern:

• Week 1: 2 days, 2 nights – 5 days off
• Week 2: 2 days, 3 nights – 4 days off
• Week 3: 3 days, 2 nights – 5 days off
• Enjoy 2 long weekends off in every 4 weeks!

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team at a large brewery in Runcorn. As part of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that packaging machinery operates efficiently and that quality control standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage packaging machine processes.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth machine operation and reduce set-up time.
• Prepare and organize the production line for shift handovers.
• Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards.
• Perform autonomous maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating machinery.
• Quickly respond to and resolve any technical or operational issues during shifts.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize production efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Must have a minium of 2 machine operator experience 
• Strong understanding of machine operations and basic maintenance.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a shift pattern including days and nights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
