The role:


Driver Project Services are seeking an experienced Portfolio Planner with a strong background inmajor chemical, petrochemical or oil and gasrelated projects to support one of our teams on a dynamic, long-term project in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Key duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Work as part of the project team to manage the overall programme.
  • Retrieve relevant work scope from maintenance management system and Stakeholders and include in overall schedule.
  • Utilising P6, develop appropriate level of detail for multiple small to medium projects within a portfolio.
  • Responsible for realistic resource levelling within the execution plan.
  • When required, develop S curves and planning performance updates.
  • Responsible for compilation of planning progress reports and produce weekly / monthly progress reports as required.
  • Manage the various planning interfaces between Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Control & Automation from project concept and scope development through project execution and financial closure.
  • Ensure contractors identify critical in-scope items.
  • Identify critical path through overall schedule.
  • Carry out interim audits of Contractors schedules, progress and progress reports.
Key candidate criteria:
  • Extensive experience with EPC projects.
  • Full Project lifecycle experience is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of P6 Cloud is required.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Info:

This is a hybrid role which will require1 to 2 days a week site / office visits.
