HGV Class 1 Driver

Challenge-trg is recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client based in Runcorn.

We are recruiting to cover various night shifts plus weekend coverage for store deliveries across the UK.

Induction required 1hour before start of shift and 3 days buddy up, to learn the job (fully paid).

There are start times available with a current average shift length of 10 - 11 hours.

Start Times

PM - Between 17:00 - 18:00pm

Rates of Pay

Weekdays - 201.72 Weekends - 212.93

Maximum 12 hour shifts.

Palletised stock, use of electric Pump Truck.

What the HGV Class 1 driver can expect:

Weekly Pay

Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours

24-hour assistance night operation team

The Requirements from the HGV Class 1 Driver

• A full Class 1 HGV Licence
• A valid Drivers CPC Card
• A digital tachograph card
• A full understanding of WTD legislation
• Reliable and excellent time keeping
• Flexible with start times & working days
