Job Title: Industrial Cleaner
Location: Runcorn
Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 9am-12pm- Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: 12.21
As an Industrial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our industrial spaces. Your primary duties will include cleaning and sanitising equipment, floors, and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in industrial settings, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to clean machinery, tools, and surfaces.
- Ensure that all areas are free of debris and hazards to promote a safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment and report any shortages or malfunctions.
- Assist in waste disposal and recycling efforts to maintain an environmentally friendly workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and supplies used.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an industrial cleaner or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of safety and hygiene practises in industrial settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
