About the Role
I am seeking aLayout Designerto join a dynamic Design Department working for Housebuilder. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who looking to further their career in a supportive environment.

Working alongside experienced colleagues, youll contribute to creating high-quality residential layouts that align with planning policies and client expectations. The team consists of layout designers, architectural technicians, and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop residential layouts that adhere to planning regulations and design principles.
  • Collaborate with the Planning and Technical teams to ensure layouts meet project requirements.
  • UseAutoCAD and other relevant tools to produce detailed drawings.
  • Work closely with the team lead, and support the junior team member with guidance and expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
  • Balance working between two offices

What They Looking For

  • Proficiency inAutoCADand experience designing residential layouts.
  • A good understanding of planning policies and their application in housing developments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to support and guide junior team members.
