We are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in high schools across the Runcorn area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring that students remain engaged and focused on their work during the absence of the class teacher. If you have experience working with young people and possess excellent communication and classroom management skills, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students in the classroom during the absence of the class teacher
Ensure that students remain on task and complete assigned work
Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive environment
Provide support for student's well-being and assist with any issues or concerns
Report any challenges or concerns to the appropriate school staff
Adhere to school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and consistent learning environment

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience working with young people (teaching, tutoring, or mentoring is beneficial)
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to manage classroom behaviour and create a focused atmosphere
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting student's learning and development
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanour
