Heyland Senior Finance are pleased to be working exclusively with this impressive specialist international manufacturing company in their search for a Senior Financial Analyst. The business has operations across North America and Europe supplying into a niche Blue-Chip Client base.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the UK Controller, you'll be responsible for providing financial reports, analysis and guidance to the business. Your duties will include, although not be limited to;
  • Producing accurate and insightful commentary on monthly performances
  • Identifying areas of overspend and working with the business to minimise the impact
  • Improving and streamlining reports tailored to business need
  • Working with Operations and Programme Managers to deliver financial business objectives
  • Providing financial support on new business opportunities
  • Active role in producing financial forecasts and budgets
  • Assisting with Inventory management, including movement analysis and provision calculations
  • Supporting Internal and External Audits
  • Preparing, posting and reviewing month end journals

Experience/Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
  • Experience of business partnering and working across departments to deliver a positive change, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of cost analysis and inventory management
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and thorough approach to work, with good attention to detail
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility of work, managing workload to meet deadlines
  • High standard of IT literacy, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be beneficial
  • Superb analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Leadership potential and the ambition and drive to progress in the future
  • Objective/ critical judgement required during financial reviews to deliver results.
  • Good communication/ presentation skills to be able to deliver financial/ technical information to various stakeholders across the business.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary - £50 - £55, 000 per annum

  • Hours of work - Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 1:00pm
