The Role

As the FP&A Manager, you will oversee a team of two and play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and analysis processes. This is a varied and dynamic position that includes both strategic responsibilities and hands-on financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidating budgets and forecasts, preparing presentations, and uploading data into financial systems.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Leading and coordinating the month-end process, ensuring deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained.
  • Producing group consolidations for covenant reporting, NHS reporting, and scenario planning.
  • Developing monthly payroll reports and quarterly forecast files.
  • Building and maintaining complex financial models for scenario analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Implementing and optimising technology to streamline reporting and enhance efficiency.
  • Staying informed on industry trends and best practices to improve financial planning and analysis functions.
  • Managing ad hoc analysis requests and delivering actionable insights.
  • Owning and managing Jet Report templates and documentation for the finance team.
  • Overseeing the budget and forecast process, providing clear timelines, templates, and guidance to the Commercial Finance Team.
  • Producing detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership, including Finance Reference Packs with commentary.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains within the finance function.
About You

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial planning and analysis and experience managing a small team. You will possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the organisation. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems are essential.
