SALARY: £13.76 per hour including shift allowance
LOCATION: Runcorn, Cheshire, North West England (WA7)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent (Shift Work)
WORKING HOURS: Must have flexibility with work schedules and ability to work all shift patterns to support production demands and operational requirements
KEY REQUIREMENTS: You must have a Forklift (FLT) and Telehandler License. Holding a JCB handling license is desirable, but not essential.

Working as the Recycling Plant Operative / Telehandler and Forklift Truck Operator you will be responsible for a range of material handling tasks, machinery operation and general housekeeping whilst adhering to health and safety policies.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Recycling Plant Operative / Telehandler and Forklift Truck Operator will include:
- You will be responsible for a range of material handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials using a Fork Lift Truck (FLT)
- Perform bulk handling tasks using a JCB, such as bucket work and operation of screeners/shredders, to ensure efficient processing of recycled materials
- Operate machinery to oversee the recycling process, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high-quality output
- Maintain general housekeeping and ensure a safe working environment, adhering strictly to all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Prioritising and promoting safety in all aspects of work
- Operate the site and production processes safely and efficiently, contributing to our commitment to sustainability and responsible waste management
- Assist with other duties as needed, collaborating with colleagues to achieve production targets and maintain a high standard of work
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Must have Fork Lift and Telehandler License. Holding a JCB handling license is desirable but not essential
- Proficient in bulk handling techniques, with previous experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment preferred
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects within set timeframes while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively and professionally with colleagues with minimal supervision
- Flexibility with work schedules and ability to work all shift patterns to support production demands and operational requirements
