Shifts: Monday- Friday 6am- 2pm, 2pm- 10pm & 10pm- 6am rotating
Contract Type: Temporary- permanent
Our client a national logistics company, is looking for a Transport Clerk to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Transport Manager this role offers great opportunities for training and development within the logistics industry.
As a Transport Clerk, your duties will be: -
" Assisting with managing both the core fleet and sub-contractors to complete deliveries.
" Communicating issues to relevant departments/sites.
" Planning/allocating drivers and vehicles ensuring they adhere to EC regulation & WTD.
" Assisting with managing delivery issues with own and contracted drivers.
" Assist with the control of vehicle and maintenance.
The successful Transport Clerk will have the following skills: -
" Must have previous experience working within the Transport industry.
" Working knowledge of both WTD and tachos.
" Methodical approach with attention to administrative details.
" Positive and eager attitude.
" Good team player.
