The firm fosters a strong team ethic and offers an excellent benefits package along with career progression opportunities.  My client is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in residential property. The successful candidate will join the Residential Property team and provide high-quality legal services to clients, predominantly handling sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-tier legal services in relation to sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold), re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.
  • Liaise with clients, agents, and introducers to update on transaction progress.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Manage own caseload with the support of an assistant and assist fellow team members.
  • Participate in business development opportunities and events.
  Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor (minimum 5 years PQE), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer. Candidates with at least 5 years of relevant residential property experience will be considered.
  • Expertise in the legal and procedural aspects of sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.
  • Ability to manage own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Commercial and financial awareness, with the ability to take responsibility for the financial control of own client matters.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to manage client expectations.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Marketing, networking, and business development skills appropriate to the role.
