We are currently looking for 2Runners to joinourprojects, located inRuncorn,UK. This would be a good role for someone wanting to build experience in an engineering organisation and work in precision engineering.
Runner activities include, but not limited to -
Support Engineers by delivering parts and tooling to them from the stores.Box units and move to goods in
Create job packs from the systems, including printing drawings and information required for work to take place.Chase down any paperwork issues (missed stamps, etc.)
Sort any unplanned shortages for the team in conjunction with shop floor planners, stores & logistics
Remove tooling (jigs) fromplatedpartsclean and degrease
Ensure parts go in to the ovens after plating within expected timescale. Empty ovens, put jigs and tooling away, put chemicals away & restock consumables
Movejobson after operationscomplete.Carry out various testing, process checks and temperature checks following training.
Clean and set up equipment, as well as general house keeping
What we are looking for from you -
Practical approach to tasks and able to use computer systems with relevant training
Ability to plan, time manage and multi-task to ensure activities are completed within tight time frames
Self-motivated with a high energy level with a clear communication style
